Hi, I’m Tap, the name is rare I know. The story is that way back in my family history, the Hornors and the Tappans were friends and may have even been in business together, then when the Tappans pulled up and moved out West, the Hornors named a son after them in honor of the friendship. My grandmother pulled the name out of the family history book and gave it to my Dad and he passed it on to me. There are not many of us Taps in the world, but there is a bus line here in Mexico that bears the name. I wonder if the owners are related to us somehow…. I am a second generation missionary. My parents are misisonaries in Alhuey, Sinaloa, Mexico (see link at right). I don't claim to be a Pastor, though I do preach when the opportunity arrises. My God-given talents are more hands-on talents and often behind the scenes. Isn't is great that God needs not just preachers, but all kinds of people in the ministry of spreading the Gospel around the world. I am continually amazed and grateful that He wants to use me for His work.

Hello, I’m Katie. I love being a Mommy and in my “spare” time I enjoy doing various arts and crafts. The Lord has given me an incredible assignment as wife and mother and each new day brings new challenges as I encourage my husband in His God-given assignments and pray for and train our children to be God's servants to the next generation.

Hola, My name is Karina (Kah-ree-nah). Karina means "Little loved one" and it's easy to say in English and Spanish. I love living in Mexico!  I love to “work” with Daddy and to help Mommy make cookies. Can you come to visit us in Mexico sometime? If you do I’ll talk  your ear off, in Spanish or English, your choice!

Hi, I’m Kirsi (Kear-see). My name means "Amaranth blossom".  I like to play dress up and even change what I'm wearing several times a day. I like to do whatever Karina is doing and I am learning to pray by myself.

Hi, My name is Tappan (like my Daddy and Grandpa) but everybody has started calling me Tré (pronounced "tray"). I am learning to say words like "mama", "coca" and "agua". I like to pester my big sisters and help mommy rearrange her cupboards.
